Play Music on the Porch Day

Play Music on the Porch Day

"What if for one day everything stopped.
And we all just listened to the music?"

The Historic Kenwood version of Play Music on the Porch Day is coming on Saturday, August 26! In the morning, start off with The Florida Folk Show, with six musicians performing live on the porch of the Craftsman House from 10 am to noon. Then in the afternoon, we have six porches across Historic Kenwood that will have live music from 1pm until roughly 5pm! They are spaced so that there should not be "bleed over" from one porch to another, but they are close enough for a quick walk to a different porch to check out another act. We have 22 performers scheduled across these 6 porches, so there will be something for everyone - from finger-style guitar instrumentals to full bands, from jazz to americana to alt rock! Performers are playing for tips, and there will be a volunteer with a tip jar at each location.
